Honeywell is hiring a Sr IT Director to sit in Phoenix, AZ. This person will own and execute the enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation strategy for a multi-billion-dollar Aerospace & Defense business, aligning technology investment with growth, margin expansion, and operational resilience. Will be the primary interface for business leaders to define requirements and drive the execution of growth and productivity solutions enabled by existing and emerging information technology. You will be a key member of the business leadership team, engaging in all aspects of running the business, with a specialization in the use of technology to fulfill business objectives. You will provide leadership in improving IT processes and developing IT team capabilities.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership, focused on AI/GenAI and Innovation:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with Honeywell's business goals and significantly contribute to business growth. Ensure a strong emphasis on innovation, AI, and generative AI.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance online sales channels and customer engagement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI and evaluate their potential application within Honeywell's IT landscape.

E-commerce Platform Management:

• Oversee the development, deployment, and management of S4/HANA platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration of S4/HANA platforms with existing business systems and data analytics tools.
• Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to drive online sales growth and enhance customer experience.
• Assure IT solutions for the business provide an exceptional user experience, while being compliant and cyber-safe.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT leaders.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the IT department and Honeywell business partners.

Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with senior management and other departments to identify and meet their IT needs.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT and other business units.
• Drive healthy SPI, CPI, and EVA metrics throughout project execution.
• Assure IT solutions for the business provide an exceptional user experience while being compliant and cyber-safe.

Budget Management and Reporting:

• Manage IT budget for S4/HANA initiatives. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on IT performance, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience
• Experience leading S4 Transforamtion
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
