- Senior Manager Program Planning and Control
Description
As a Sr. Manager Program Planning and Control (PP&C) at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead the Program Planning & Control function and manage a team of program controls professionals supporting program planning and execution. In this role you will help establish the program controls operating cadence, ensure performance visibility, drive baseline integrity and forecasting discipline, and partner with Program Management, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to deliver predictable program execution and improved outcomes. Your strong guiding skills, strategic thinking, and ability to work with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's programs and processes.You will report directly to Ken Salit, Director Engineering, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a comprehensive and far-reaching impact, encompassing strategic guidance, process efficiency, quality assurance, data thoughtfulness, reporting, timely delivery, issue resolution, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, mentoring and development, compliance, strategic planning, process documentation, and organizational growth. You are instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of programs, processes, and projects, contributing to the organization's overall success and performance-driven in the market.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage, coach, and develop the program controls staff; set priorities, standard work, and development plans. Provide oversight, guidance, coaching, and mentoring for program management operating system practices and program controls rigor.
- Develop and implement program and process management strategies and best practices
- Ensure compliance with program and process management standards and guidelines
- Manage program and process performance metrics and reporting
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and present findings at monthly reviews
- Lead and drive strategic initiatives to enhance program and process efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify and mitigate drivers of unfavorable program outcomes, including helping prevent unfavorable EAC growth
- Drive milestone fidelity by monitoring key milestones, escalating gaps, and driving recovery plans with functional owners.
Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in program or process management or related roles
• Experience in program controls / project controls in an engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive closure on actions.
