Production Associate Spooling (Entry Level) Up to $21.45/hr in 6 months | No Weekends
Fort Wayne, IN (Ardmore Ave)
Multiple shifts available; Additional shifts may open up as company needs arise.
- Current Shift Openings:
- 2nd Shift (4:10p - 12:10a | Monday - Friday)
- 3rd Shift (12:00a - 8:00a | Monday - Friday)
- Alternate 36 Overnight Shift (6p - 6a | Mon, Tue, Sun)
- Training will likely take place on 1st shift: 7:50 am - 4:20 pm
Starting Pay: $19.84/hr; Up to $21.45/hr within ~6 months
- Paid weekly

What you'll do
- Reading and interpreting production orders to determine priorities and specifications
- Setting up and operating re-spooling equipment
- Monitoring wire winding to ensure even, accurate spooling and making adjustments as needed
- Performing cleaning processes using Hot Alkaline or Ultrasonic systems (as applicable)
- Conducting eddy current testing to identify defects in wire materials
- Visually inspecting wire to ensure quality standards are met and labeling and packaging finished materials accurately
What we're looking for
- 1 year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Voluntary overtime only you control extra hours
Work Environment
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Pushing/Pulling Requirements: 1 lbs. to 177 lbs.
- May be required to perform work above shoulder height
- Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting
- Must be able to access all areas of operation
- Standing/walking most of the shift
- Visual Acuity
