New Full-Time Police Officers

The City of Troy is accepting applications to establish eligibility for lateral transfer & probationary full-time police officer positions.

New hires start at a base pay of $84,324.59 .

Must be a U.S. citizen, have good moral character, be physically able to perform the essential job functions, and speak and understand English. The Troy Police Department has many special assignment divisions, such as a K9 program, motorcycle officers, a School Resource Officer, investigations, a drone program, and an undercover narcotics officer.

Troy PD is a member of the ILEAS Special Response Team and Mobile Field Force, Major Case, Child Death Investigations Task Force, and Secret Service Southern IL Financial and Cyber Crimes Task Forc.
