Description

The Construction Intern will support Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to both office and field operations, offering the opportunity to learn key aspects of the construction industry, including project management, scheduling, safety, and quality control.The Construction Intern will support Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong interest in the construction industry
• Basic understanding of construction principles (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both in an office and on active construction sites
• Ability to understand and follow instructions; function effectively as part of a team; ability to work under pressure; communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and

  the public.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to walk job sites and stand for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds (if needed). Combination of office and field work. Exposure to construction site conditions (noise, dust, varying weather). Must be able to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE when on-site.
