In-Store Product Support Sales Representative
About the Position
The Parts Department is seeking an In-Store Product Support Sales Representative (ISR) for our Wasilla branch. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for parts and service programs, focusing on maximizing parts and service sales within an assigned customer territory. This position plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring customers are informed about new products, services, and support solutions that add value to their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers to drive parts and service sales growth.
- Conduct regular customer outreach and complete weekly call reports documenting customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
- Proactively promote parts, service programs, and support solutions to meet customer needs and increase revenue.
- Perform routine inspections of undercarriage components and ground-engaging tools to assess wear and identify replacement or service requirements.
- Prepare and present product recommendations, service proposals, and quotes based on customer equipment needs.
- Stay informed about product offerings, service programs, and industry trends to provide expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive service and effective problem-solving.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred, with 23 years of industry sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant sales experience.
- Strong customer service, sales, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, kneel, and stoop.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Valid driver's license.
