- Commercial Scheduler/Senior Scheduler - Texas Gas Marketing & Trading

What We Are Looking ForThe Texas Commercial Scheduler will be part of a dynamic natural gas optimization team. This position is a key member to complete all required scheduling activity on natural gas pipelines in Texas and play an active role in growing our Texas trading/marketing business.
What You Will Do
- Nominate and confirm scheduled natural gas quantities on interstate and intrastate pipeline EBBs on a timely basis and within pipeline deadlines
- As a member of the trading team, participate and ensure the accurate execution of capacity optimization
- Gain a complete understanding of the operational and commercial aspects of pipeline tariffs and other applicable governing documents
- Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with all parties in the supply chain including schedulers from other companies, pipeline representatives, and internal personnel
- Update and balance internal systems to ensure accurate and timely invoices as well as other necessary SOX controls
- Special projects and other daily, weekly, or monthly assignments as require
What You Need
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service position where complex concepts are conveyed using various communication tools within a limited time-frame
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload in a dynamic environment
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational, complex problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish relationships and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to be an integral member of a team as well as be able to work autonomously with limited direct supervision
- Working knowledge of NAESB standards and guidelines as it relates to nominations, confirmations, scheduling and allocations
- Desire to embrace a small group, entrepreneurial and dynamic culture with an attitude towards growth
- Possesses strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential process improvements
- Experience with the DART system or ETRM system
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and the ability to learn new technology, such as (but not limited to) Power BI and AI tools
- 24/7 availability in an hourly deadline-oriented environment
- Office environment with remote capability (hybrid work schedule)
- Weekends, Holidays and after-hours work required
