Description
Providence Behavioral Health West is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the organization. The team provides specialized behavioral health care for adolescents through Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. The team also uses evidence-based approaches like Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and family systems to support high-acuity patients with mood disorders and behavioral challenges.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 36 patient-facing hours; limited weekend rotation
- Clinical Mix includes:
- Pathways Program (PH/IOP): Care for 7 to 8 adolescents (ages 13-17)
- Outpatient: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Consults: ED and pediatric floors at Providence St. Vincent (approx. 2x/week)
- Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and collaboration with therapy teams
- Call Coverage is 2 weeknights per month; 3 weekends per year
- Interest in consults and eating disorder coverage is preferred
