Parents And Children Together, one of Hawaii's largest private not-for-profit family service agencies, leads in the design and delivery of innovative social, economic and educational services. We partner actively with community efforts, coalitions, initiatives, schools and other providers to advocate for the needs of Hawaii's most-challenged citizens.

Parents And Children Together's staff creates opportunities for individuals and families to identify, address and bring resolution to the challenges they face on a daily basis. Socio-economic barriers, family violence, lack of English/literacy, lack of workplace skills, risk of abuse, low income, poor school performance, and behavioral and development difficulties are assessed and overcome through evidence-based models and nationally accredited programming.

Company History

Parents And Children Together launched community-based services in 1968, starting at Kuhio Park Terrace and growing into a multi-faceted organization with a wide variety of programs and over 400 employees on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kauai, and the Island of Hawaii. We partner with county, state, and federal sources, as well as individuals, corporations, foundations, and community organizations, including Aloha United Way (AUW), Maui United Way (MUW) and Kauai United Way (KUW) to fund our work. Our programs are fully endorsed by the Council on Accreditation (COA), Healthy Families America (HFA), and Head Start/Early Head Start.

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition

Parents And Children Together (PACT) is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation and is a member of the Better Business Bureau.

PACT is regularly awarded Best Places to Work in the State of Hawaii.
