About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in Glen Waverley, VIC. This is a flexible full-time contractor OR employee position.

You will support children and their families across both clinic and community settings, providing assessment and evidence-based intervention in speech, language, social communication, and early childhood development.

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s lives while further developing your clinical skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive speech, language, communication, and play-based assessments for children and adolescents.
• Provide evidence-based interventions for a wide range of needs, including speech and language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and developmental delays.
• Support children with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including assessment, device trials, implementation, and caregiver training.
• Deliver therapy across clinic, home, school, and community settings, ensuring interventions are meaningful and functional.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to set and achieve individualised goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, and provide clear, professional reports to support NDIS and private therapy services.
• Travel up to one hour to provide accessible, family-centred care in community settings.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (NDIS experience highly regarded).
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and evidence-based intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
