Essential Functions:
Establishes a practice site in their area of expertise in collaboration with the Director(s) for Experiential Education.
Serves as a clinical preceptor for up to fourteen (14) pharmacy students per year.
Teaches assigned content areas according to an approved course syllabus utilizing Roseman’s Six-Point Mastery Learning Model.
Coordinates, plans, organizes, and instructs courses in the day, evening, or on weekends on any Roseman University campus as assigned.
Participates in, and if deemed appropriate coordinates and leads hands on skills-based days in the PharmD curriculum.
Keeps active at a high level of expertise in the subjects taught and stimulates enthusiasm for those subjects.
Keeps informed of current trends and new approaches to instruction via professional development activities.
Assists in recruitment and retention of students.
Be available to conference with and show genuine concern for students during regular working hours and other times as scheduled.
Strive for the qualities delineated in the criteria for faculty evaluation used by the college.
Submit required reports to the appropriate college personnel
Attend all faculty meetings, open forums, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Chancellor, College Dean.
Become thoroughly familiar with and comply with all university and college policies and procedures.
Serves on and provides information to college committees as needed.
Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the college and university.
Requirements
PharmD with residency and/or fellowship training (or equivalent training).
Must be eligible for licensure dependent of site location at the time of application and receive licensure within 3 months of hire.
