Our golf club, founded in 1921, boasts a rich history and tradition in the game of golf. The club features a beautifully designed 18-hole golf course that offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Currently, the club is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation to enhance its facilities and provide an even better experience for our members and guests. The renovation includes new USGA greens, bunkers, tees and a state-of-the-art irrigation system. Opening date is set for Summer 2026.

Job Title: Head Golf Professional

Job Summary

The Head Golf Professional is responsible for managing the overall golf operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This role includes overseeing the pro shop operations including merchandise and apparel, organizing tournaments and events, providing golf instruction, and maintaining the highest standards of service and facility management.

Experience Required

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Golf Professional, with a strong emphasis on private club member relations.

• PGA membership or equivalent professional certification.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• In-depth knowledge of the golf industry and trends.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Golf Operations Management: Oversee all golf operations, including tournaments, leagues, and daily play. Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the golf course and facilities.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to members and guests. Address and resolve any issues or complaints promptly. Foster strong relationships with club members to enhance their overall experience.

• Golf Instruction: Organize and conduct golf lessons and clinics for players of all skill levels. Provide coaching and guidance to improve their game.

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the practice areas and Pro Shop facilities are well maintained. Coordinate with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure high-quality practice facilities.

• Pro Shop Management: Manage the Pro Shop operations, including merchandise sales, inventory control, and staff supervision.

• Budget and Finances: Assist in the development and management of the Pro Shop budget.Ensure proper collection of fees and charges associated with golf activities.

• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage golf staff

. Ensure compliance with club rules and regulations.

• Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans to promote the golf club and its events.

• Junior Golf Program: Develop and oversee the junior golf program, including organizing lessons, clinics, and tournaments for young golfers. Ensure the program provides a supportive and engaging environment for junior players to learn and grow in the sport.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to golf rules and regulations. Represent the club in tournaments and other golf events.
