Description
Work-Life Balance Radiology
West Reading Radiology Associates
West Reading Radiology Associates (WRRA) is seeking a diagnostic radiologist with cross sectional imaging skills (Body, Chest, ER, MSK or Neuro) and/or mammography.
The Group:
Traditional Private Practice group with a strong focus on providing our radiologists with their own “ideal position”. Whether typical partner, mammo partner, employed, 0.9 FTE (or less), options for no Holiday shifts or no Holiday weekends, and options to sell weekends or weeknight evening shifts, we are able to create a customized job for you. Most of us strive to maximize time off and to work reasonable hours, so we can spend as much time as possible enjoying family, friends, and leisure activities.
Alternatively, if you prefer to work more and make more, we can create that as well, with options at or above 1.1 FTE.
Regardless, we want this job to be exactly what YOU want – a rotation mix you enjoy, the ability to have the job change with you as your interests, priorities, and families change.
We are fortunate to have billing efficiencies and specialized contracts that contribute to one of highest reimbursement packages in Southeastern Pa. Compensation and benefits are exceptionally competitive (includes malpractice, health, and disability insurance, CME and business allowances, Cash balance plan, HSA, HRA, and retirement plan).
PTO averages about 14 weeks per year, with flexible vacation scheduling. The bulk of your vacation can be taken in non-week-long blocks or single days, if you wish. However, if you want to put 3 or 4 weeks of PTO in a row for a trip around the world, we accommodate that as well.
We are fair and transparent – there is no taking advantage of the non-partner or employee. Home rotations, evening/weekend shifts, tumor boards, etc are all shared equally among all group members. New hires generally have no evening or weekend shifts for the first 3-4 months that they are with us, so they can ease into the job, build macros, get used to the system, and settle in the community.
Most of our Radiologists live within 10 minutes of the hospital, in Wyomissing or Spring Township, where we have highly rated public and private schools, beautiful parks, and abundant outdoor and youth activities. One of the larger Penn State campuses is located in Spring Township. World class shopping in King of Prussia is a 45 minute drive away, and we are 2 hours to New York City, Baltimore, and the Jersey Shore.
However, several of our radiologists choose to be closer to Philadelphia, so living in towns like Collegeville, Phoenixville, or Exton, approximately 30 miles from the hospital, are other choices.
