Position Summary
Gesa Credit Union is seeking an experienced individual to join the Credit Union in the role of Vice President of Internal Audit. Reporting to the Supervisory Committee (with a dotted line to the Chief Risk Officer), this position will plan, organize, and direct all audit functions to ensure the safety and soundness of the Credit Union’s assets and that the organization is in compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations. The Vice President of Internal Audit will guide the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, and Management by providing analysis of and recommendations for policies and procedures, internal controls, and reporting practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to work individually. A Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of audit experience, and 4 years in a supervisory capacity are required. Prior experience in a large financial institution or a Big 4 accounting firm, along with a CPA, CIA, or CISA designation, is highly preferred.

Compensation
A competitive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate.
The hiring range is approximately $150,000- $220,000.
