Description
The USIS Identity & Fraud (ID&F) business delivers identity verification, payments fraud, credit application fraud, chargeback management, and compliance solutions to a wide variety of businesses including merchants and financial institutions. The Data & Analytics (D&A) Leader for Identity and Fraud will have end-to-end responsibility for all data and analytics functions that support the ID&F business including everything from data strategy and analytical product development to AI, data science, data engineering, and data architecture. This role requires a strategic leader who possesses a strong command of the ID&F landscape and can define and execute a D&A strategy that leverages innovation and collaboration to deliver tangible business results. As a key leader, this role will report directly to the USIS Chief D&A Officer while serving as a core member of the senior leadership teams for both D&A and ID&F Services. What you'll do
- Influence Equifax's identity & fraud business strategy and lead the alignment of data & analytics initiatives with that business strategy
- Stay ahead of market trends by anticipating customer needs and utilizing AI and other new technologies to create forward-thinking solutions that solidify Equifax's market leadership
- Work closely with strategic customers to gain insights into new fraud threats, develop targeted solutions, and assist customers in testing and adopting identity verification and fraud detection products
- Drive the integration of data and analytics insights into the product roadmap, working closely with product managers to prioritize new features and products
- Design and lead development of AI applications to streamline internal and external processes like data product development and fraud investigations
- Serve as a technical leader for the data science and machine learning engineering teams in the organization, guiding the design and delivery of complex models and solutions with team leaders while ensuring the appropriate level of rigor is applied to all initiatives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop and execute go-to-market plans that include product positioning, target customer segments, and customer testing / adoption strategies
- Serve as a key partner to the marketing team, providing data and insights to help create compelling, data-driven marketing materials that drive demand
- Effectively organize the team to balance and deliver on demand generation, customer engagement, product development, and solution delivery needs
- Lead development, delivery, maintenance, and monitoring of AI/ML products in the portfolio
- Collaborate with technology, platform, and other D&A teams to ensure that capability roadmaps incorporate the requirements of the identify & fraud business
What experience you need
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a related field of computer science, data science, applied mathematics or other related degrees (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing data science teams and in support of revenue generating organizations
- Minimum 7 years in developing and using rich and diverse data sets to develop models and data products
- Understanding of the payments lifecycle and consumer credit originations processes; ability to monetize that knowledge through sale of products/services that address customer pain points and business needs
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering, machine learning, and pattern recognition methodologies
- Strong skills in statistical analysis with abilities in advanced data management, data science, natural language processing, AI, and machine learning
- Expertise in identity and fraud detection, risk modeling, causal analysis, and pattern recognition
