- Medical Oncology - Veterinary Cancer Group, Culver City

Information about our Neurology Program:
At Tampa Bay VS&ECC, you will work directly with our board-certified neurologist, whose passion for teaching has a strong track record with both interns and residents. The Neurology service has a 4-day work week, with on-call support for the Emergency Department every 3rd week. The internship is designed to provide a well-rounded educational experience, incorporating both clinical and didactic learning. Our day starts with hospital-wide in-patient rounds to ensure collaboration and learning among our team. The Neurology service participates in monthly regional journal club and in-house monthly book club/topic rounds. The intern will have primary case responsibility of neurology emergency cases (always with direct specialist support), the opportunity to learn technical aspects of MRI operation and preliminary in-house CSF analysis, and a neurosurgical cadaver training lab. The intern will be given the opportunity to rotate through other specialty services, as well as time to visit and interview with residency programs.
Information about our Medical Oncology Program:
Veterinary Cancer Group, Culver City, CA - an extensive team of board-certified oncologists work with VCG. You will learn from these veterinarians, with one as your primary mentor. You'll also participate in didactic training with the medical oncology residents at the VCG-Tustin location. In this high volume private practice, you will also experience radiation oncology, and partner with the specialists working on our ACCESS Los Angeles team in the same building.
Information about our Surgery Internship Program:
VSC Seattle
Our collaborative teams of specialists include Boarded veterinarians in internal medicine, emergency and critical care, surgery, neurology, cardiology, anesthesia and oncology, and experienced ER clinicians. Our equipment and technology are state-of-the-art: on-site MRI, recently upgraded CT, C-arm, echocardiography, ultrasonography with color flow and Doppler capabilities, digital radiology, rigid and flexible endoscopy, bronchoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, and major orthopedic and neurosurgical power instrumentation. Each location has a couple things that sets it apart as well.
Our surgical teams perform a range of surgical procedures depending on the location, such as minimally invasive thoracoscopy, laparoscopic and lap-assisted procedures, and C-arm guided fracture repair in addition to practicing regenerative medicine. We also provide critical care support with 24-hour staffing in our ER by internship-trained ER doctors and critical care specialists. This includes support of patients with oxygen, continuous ECG monitoring, and mechanical ventilation. Our in-house lab includes blood gas and electrolyte monitoring (EPOC), chemistry and CBC analysis, coagulation testing, and blood typing.

Thrive Pet Healthcare supports our interns with a comprehensive package including:
- $55,000 and above annual salary (details vary, based on location)
