For over 26 years, Highland Knolls Veterinary Hospital has proudly served the Katy/West Houston community. We’re a free-standing, paper-lite, small animal practice known for going above and beyond in diagnostics and treatment. Local specialists trust our thoroughness, and our clients value the personalized care we provide.
We’re looking for a full-time Veterinarian who:
Values quality over quantity
Thrives in a collaborative, transparent environment
Wants tailored support to grow their skills—whether that means more surgical experience, longer appointment times, or focused mentorship
What We Offer:
4 exam rooms + 1 surgical suite
Dedicated x-ray and large treatment area with ultrasound
Full in-house Idexx lab
Sevoflo anesthesia, electro-cautery, and ultrasound (with a WAVE-certified DVM on staff)
99% small animal caseload (occasional exotics optional)
Customized scheduling with 15–30 minute appointments and built-in buffer slots
Strong support staff (2–3 assistants per DVM, with plans to expand to 1 DVM + 1 LVT + 1 VA teams)
Exciting remodel scheduled for 2025!
Schedule & Work-Life Balance:
4-day work week + rotating Saturdays
7:30a–5:30p with a 1.5-hour lunch/callback/record block
Minimal on-call—limited to hospitalized patients or pet store partners, aligned with your Saturday shifts
Rotating weekday off (typically every 4 weeks)
