Job Summary
Denver Health & Hospital Authority (DHHA) in the heart of thriving downtown, Denver, Colorado is recruiting for a BC/BE Emergency, Family or General Internal Medicine physician at our Adult Urgent Care Center to join our team of 20+ emergency medicine physicians and APPs. Our urgent care based at Denver Health Medical Center offers opportunities to teach residents, a high-functioning EMR (EPIC), Dragon Dictation Devices and a collaborative clinical environment.
The Urgent Care Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Care site that sees and manages approximately 40,000 patients annually. A wide array of consultant services and diagnostic testing are available on-site, including access to bedside ultrasound, in-clinic X-ray and CT, US and MRI services. Hours of the Clinic are 7am-7pm, 7 days/week. The Downtown Urgent Care is a state of the art facility that sees approximately 5,000 patients annually and its hours are 7am-7pm, Mon-Thursday. The Virtual Urgent Care sees approximately 18,000 patients annually and its hours are 7am-7pm, 7 days/week. All told, these sites take care of more than 60,000 patients annually.
