- Tool Room and Allied Parts Attendant - Tuscon, AZ

JOB SUMMARY:Will be responsible for acquiring service tooling, supplies, and allied parts. This person is responsible for proper check in and out procedures for tooling, supplies, and allied parts needed by technicians. Will keep management apprised of tooling and supply needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Responsible for flow and functioning of overall operation of tool crib.
- Create and maintain a tool managing system and processes pertaining to inventory, supply usage, and tool distribution and history. Manages orders, replenishes, and maintains tool and allied parts inventories. Maintain overstock tooling sales records, damaged tooling purchases, and picture file records.
- Maintain supply resale logs for minimum of one year. Maintain supply purchase requisitions.
- Maintain tool purchase records, Parts Sales Orders for warranty coverages, demands, etc.
- Charges supplies and allied parts to proper accounts or work orders .
- Processes parts orders for technicians.
- Works with service supervisors on supply needs.
- Works with Procurement Manager to set up proper vendors for purchasing needs .
- Maintains tool room and supply area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Works with service supervisors on supply needs .
- Keeps management apprised of tooling and supply needs.
- Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules tooling for calibration or repairs .
- Maintains a continued understanding of technician tooling and purchasing needs .
- Assists with warranty part returns and core returns, as needed.
- Searches for required parts and supplies using external resources, such as the Internet.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Works within and promotes corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Exhibited skills and knowledge in equipment and electrical repair.
- Ability to understand warranty policies and core criteria.
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a very fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a technician field .
- Experience with tooling inventory tracking.
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
