- Territorial Inside Sales Representative Used Equipment

About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Used Equipment Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively communicating product offerings, financial solutions, and merchandising programs to customers. You will also manage customer concerns efficiently through proper channels, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
This position requires strong administrative skills, including completing necessary documentation, entering data accurately, conducting trade inspections, managing expenses, and following up on leads. Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential.
As a key representative of our company, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, actively engage in industry education, attend relevant meetings, and coordinate with member companies, internal departments, and colleagues. A polished and professional demeanor is required when interacting at all levels.
You will report directly to the General Manager for Used Equipment HGI. Maintaining safety standards and keeping company assets in excellent condition are also critical components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is an office-based position (non-remote) located in our Tukwila, WA branch.
- This is a non-dealer territory Sales Representative position for Used Equipment.
- Promote and sell used equipment products and services to existing and potential customers
- Communicate financial and merchandising programs clearly and effectively
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues through the appropriate channels
- Perform trade evaluations and inspections
- Complete and manage all required administrative tasks (paperwork, data entry, expense reports)
- Follow up on sales leads and generate new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support sales goals
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, events, and industry functions
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and asset condition

- Office based exceptional online and phone skills
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of heavy equipment and general sales practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous experience in commission-based sales preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — in person, online, and via phone
- Highly motivated with strong prospecting and business development abilities
- Valid driver's license required
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred but not required

Employee Benefits:
Lucrative Earning Potential: On target earnings (OTE) potential for the first year is $100,000, which includes a base salary and draw of $54,000 per year plus commission.
