WAVY-TV 10 (NBC) in Hampton Roads, Virginia is looking for a temporary, part-time, on-air Co-Host for its one-hour daily lifestyle show "The Hampton Roads Show."

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate is a skilled and seasoned communicator who is adept at engaging viewers, guests, and clients in both a non-scripted, fun, lifestyle show environment and the social media world. Knowledge of current events, popular culture, and compelling subjects making news in Hampton Roads is key. The ideal candidate brings strong interview skills, relatable on-camera personality, and an energetic social media presence. Contributions to other WAVY-TV, FOX43, CW Hampton Roads, WAVY+ programs and platforms may be required. Position will require weekday mornings - and some afternoons as needed for shoots and tapings.

Requirements:

• Ability to work 830am-1230pm Monday-Friday mornings through December, 2025.
• Five years on-air lifestyle interviewing/hosting experience is preferred
• Our employees excel on multiple platforms - broadcast, connected television (CTV), web, and social media
• Proven execution and understanding of how to write for the web is required
• Adept at creating and managing web posts and social media with an understanding of daily posting of lives/videos/images to grow an audience
• Experience with hosting sales-integrated content is a plus
