Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Proactive Health Office (PHO) Technical SETA to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) activities. ARPA-H PHO requires a Technical SETA to play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of related activities within the ARPA-H organization.
Responsibilities:
The Front Office Technical SETA will work with PHO leadership to execute strategic objectives for the office and assist PHO staff (PMs, leadership, ADPM/PA) with program development, recruiting, and reviewing/managing unsolicited proposals. Activities will include:
1) Performance of socio-technical systems analyses to help PHO identify core deficiencies both within and outside of the US medical care system that could improve health outcomes.
2) Identification of emerging technologies, science, and policies that require ARPA like acceleration to demonstrate efficacy or scale, including potential candidates to undertake those efforts.
3) Support the development and communication of PHO strategy for stakeholder engagement and recruiting efforts.
4) Identify potential talent for program development and management.
Experience/Expertise:
- System analysis skills highly desirable.
- Biomedical, health and epidemiological research experience also highly desirable.
- Familiarity working in an ARPA environment, and an understanding the environment to develop leap-ahead technology and strategic
vision.
Qualification Requirements:
Education
Ph.D. in public health, medical and/or systems engineering fields with specific application to public health and healthcare
Clearance
HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
