Your Role
As Tax Manager, you’ll be a key player in delivering high-value advisory services and leading our tax practice. You’ll work directly with clients, guide team members, and help shape the future of our firm. We are seeking someone that is a strategic thinker and a sharp tactician. Someone ready to jump in and do the work necessary, build relationships with clients and someone who is prepared to teach the next generation of the firm. The right person will be independent, determined, emotionally intelligent, and able to successfully execute tasks efficiently. Most importantly, you must have strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Guidance: Advise clients on tax planning, cash flow management, and entity structuring
- Tax Focus: Oversee preparation and review complex individual and business tax returns
- Client Development: Identify opportunities for tax savings and business growth; communicate these with the client
- Team Mentorship: Help foster a collaborative culture, provide technical guidance and build a strong team around you
- Process Innovation: Drive improvements in workflow, explore new tools and technologies (AI), and enhance client experience

Qualifications
Required:
- CPA or EA certification
- 6+ years of experience in public accounting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive and client-focused mindset
- Trustworthy and responsible, high integrity character
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
- Experience with CCH ProSystem fx or Axcess, Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager, SurePrep or SafeSend systems
- Interest in emerging technologies like AI and workflow automation
- Familiarity with small and mid-sized business clients and how to address their needs
Compensation
$90,000 - $115,000 annually
