What You'll Do:
Oversee Mortgage Servicing functions including collection activities, default management, bankruptcy, foreclosure, pre-foreclosure matters, escrow administration, investor reconciliation and reporting and customer service to ensure compliance with all required timelines.
Monitors the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes of the third-party sub servicer to minimize losses from failed vendor processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks. This includes review of sub servicer's Issues Management (KPI/KRI/Corrective Action Plans for all servicing areas including Customer Service, Escrow, Investor Accounting, Continuity of Contact Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Claims). Provide reporting in the form of management dashboards. Monitors goals, objectives and KPIs to ensure successful operational performance combined with risk and relationship oversight of Sub Servicer to ensure compliance with investor, insurer, guarantor, and agency guidelines.
Handles matters related to legal investigations, subpoena responses, and settlement negotiations as needed. This includes potential title claims as well as foreclosure and bankruptcy matters.
Serves as point person for communication with internal business partners such as Quality Control, Compliance, Internal Audits and Risk Management. Ensures compliance with regulatory, investor, insurer, and guarantor guidelines through ongoing monitoring of investor changes and internal monitoring reporting.
Supervises department staff, establishes, and monitors performance measurements, defines training goals, and provides professional mentoring to foster best practices, improve productivity, and promote innovation in the workplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
10+ years of related experience preferred.
Mortgage Sub-servicer Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience required.
In-depth knowledge of escrow administration, investor reconciliation reporting and remittance, bankruptcy, foreclosure, loss mitigation and collections required.
Advanced understanding of OCC heightened standards.
Experience with change management processes for investor and regulatory updates.
Effective skills in leadership and management of process, projects, and people.
Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors.
Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships,
In depth knowledge of Mortgage Servicing Operational processes and technology platforms supporting Operations.
Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
Detailed oriented with analytical skills, as the role requires a large amount of data manipulation and presentation.
Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $117,000-$165,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
