Description

Arconic is seeking a SSM (Sheet Surface Monitoring) Metallurgical Technician to join its Global Rolled Products (GRP) Operations business unit in Alcoa, TN. The successful candidate will provide a high degree of technical expertise needed to produce a quality product at a competitive cost. Based on his/her experience working with equipment, practices, customers and people, this person has responsibility for problem solving, developing and controlling quality standards, fabricating practices, and instructing and training the appropriate personnel. He/she also may assist or coordinate in the design and developments of new technical processes/equipment to provide a quality product. This position requires the ability to work weekends and off shifts.
