- Strategy Associate
Description
The Strategy Associate will support the business development, structuring, and management of L&G's investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and oversight of prospect/client strategies to ensure they are optimized for prospect/client-specific investment objectives and constraints
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current investment market, economic issues, building block strategies, and L&G firm views
- Maintain a detailed understanding of market instruments applicable to the assigned clients/sectors
- Work on the development of systems for modeling/monitoring risk
- Model the outcomes of different asset and derivative strategies to match client liabilities or risk objectives
- Use technical expertise to explain the outcomes of analysis and obtain agreement on appropriate actions with the relevant parties
- Support preparation of presentations for investment consultants, clients and prospects
- Respond to client, consultant and third party requests for information in a comprehensive and timely manner
- Support thought leadership research and publication
- Provide specialist reporting as require
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor degree required
- 2+ years investment management or similar experience
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $95,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan.
