We are currently seeking a Sr. Advisor - Key Accounts and Strategic Relationships to lead and enhance Enbridge Gas Ontario's strategic engagement with the province's builders, builder related associations and key construction stakeholders.
This role will support Ontario's housing goals by engaging with key builders, developers, and investors to understand long-term residential construction trends, energy needs, and the evolving landscape of building practices. The ideal candidates will bring strategic insight, strong relationship-building capabilities, and a deep understanding of Ontario's residential construction landscape. The ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive market influence is essential to success in this role.

What You Will Do:
- Lead strategic engagement with top-tier builders across Ontario to uncover long-term development plans, energy preferences, housing mix plans, and market trends that influence residential construction.
- Develop strong industry partnerships to stay aligned with builder priorities and emerging residential construction trends.
- Represent Enbridge Gas Ontario on association boards, working groups, and strategic planning sessions to support industry collaboration and gain insights into energy use trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual engagement plans with builder associations, including sponsorships, speaker coordination, and strategic messaging aligned with Enbridge's business objectives.
- Collaborate across internal departments (e.g., Sales, Regulatory, Municipal Relations, Engineering, Asset Management) to ensure consistent and effective delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Provide actionable market insights to internal teams and leadership to inform infrastructure planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences, including builder association events, municipal councils, and industry forums, to advance provincial energy objectives.
Who You Are:
- University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field with (6+) six plus years of experience in energy, utilities, land development, or strategic stakeholder engagement. Other combinations of education, training and experiences will be considered.
- Experience working with municipal governments, builders and developers.
- Strong understanding of Ontario's residential construction market, builder associations, and energy transition trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience with demand-side management or energy conservation programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions:
- Approximately 25% travel required to development sites and meetings across Ontario.
- Valid Ontario G class driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Occasional evening and weekend work for events or stakeholder engagements.
