Partnership track position with well-established Southern California Radiation Oncology Private Practice
The Memorial Radiation Oncology Medical Group is looking for an exceptionally well-qualified BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join our practice at our hospital based sites in Long Beach and Fountain Valley in the summer of 2026.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical acumen, impeccable integrity, and have a comprehensive clinical skill set with the ability to treat all disease sites including stereotactic radiotherapy and HDR in a busy clinical practice. Interest in pediatrics is a plus.
Additionally, the candidate should have robust practice development skills including the ability and desire to develop strong on-going relationships with referring physicians, hospital administration, and the local community including public speaking, evening, and weekend events. The group is looking for a true team player with outstanding references and a track record of success who can contribute actively to the group's long-term success.
The medical group is closely affiliated with the MemorialCare Health System and has provided professional services for over 30 years at our centers along the Southern California Coast.
The group provides high-level Radiation Oncology services to the region and has served as a tertiary referral site in the region for complex radiation cases. The group is well known for treating advanced and complex HDR cases under the leadership of Dr. Nisar Syed, the Founding Editor of the ABS Journal of Brachytherapy and one of the pioneers in HDR brachytherapy. The group also has one of the longest established and high volume stereotactic radiotherapy programs in the region.
Multi-million dollar equipment upgrades are taking place at both campuses and technology will include Varian Edge linear accelerators w/Brainlab, HDR Bravos afterloaders, TrueBeam, and SGRT capabilities at all sites as well as access to clinical trials throughout our practice.
