The Office of Development at Messiah University has an opening for a full-time Senior Regional Advancement Representative.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to identify, qualify, cultivate, and solicit a specific portfolio of major and deferred gift prospects in order to secure immediate and long-term gift revenue required by the institution. The development office is committed to diversity and inclusive excellence in our department and candidates are encouraged to apply and identify their strengths or experiences in this area.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in major gifts, planned giving and/or foundation experience.
Skills and Characteristics: Demonstrate ability to secure major and planned gifts; Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; listening skills; Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and relationships; mature judgment; Self-motivated; ability to handle multiple tasks with organization and flexibility; Possess and maintain a working knowledge of various charitable giving techniques and their relevant income and estate tax implications.
