We are currently working with a recognized real estate and hospitality firm with a solid presence in luxury brand hotels. Our client has a presence in landmark locations around Mexico and the Caribbean and is currently seeking a Senior Asset Manager. You will play a crucial role in maximizing the value and profitability of hotel assets, acting as the critical link between owners, management teams, and regional/brand teams. The position is based in Mexico City, México. What the job involves
- Oversee all operational and financial performance ensuring alignment with long-term investment goals
- Drive strategic revenue and profitability, optimize pricing, channel mix, demand forecasting, and commercial initiatives to maximize top-line revenue and ROI
- Review P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and budgets; hold operating teams accountable for financial performance and cost management
- Develop and execute long-term strategies including pre-opening, repositioning, renovations, and rebranding to enhance property value and guest experience
- Benchmark against competitors, track trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
- Serve as primary liaison with owners, providing insightful reporting and ensuring alignment with investment objectives
- Collaborate with GMs and executive teams to improve market positioning, brand performance, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Oversee capital projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goals
- Review and approve management contracts, leases, and ensure adherence to legal, franchise, and brand standards
- Work closely with acquisitions, investment, engineering, and regional teams to execute ownership and investor strategies
- Financially and analytically strong, skilled in modeling, reporting, and interpreting complex data
- Thorough knowledge of the Mexican hospitality market, primarily the urban, all inclusive, and luxury segments
- Hands-on experience with revenue management systems, BI tools, and market data platforms
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term asset value and high-impact decision making
- Proven interpersonal skills for negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, finance, business administration, or related field; MBA or master's degree highly preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) with experience in international hospitality operations
- Willingness to travel 40-60% for site visits, meetings, and capital project oversight
