- Seasonal Hire in the Medical School Information Technology
Description
Position Summary:We are looking for a seasonal hire who will work in our McGovern Medical School building. The primary focus will be on software development and imaging, but on an introductory level. This role is designed to give someone experience with these concepts and how they relate to UTHealth Houston.
Position Key Accountabilities:
You will assist our Information Technology team, which is housed in the Medical School, and assist them with routine issues revolving around their daily tasks.
This is a role that is paid hourly, is not eligible for full benefits, and is intended only to last for four or five months. The schedule can be flexible to accommodate students or those with other commitments in addition to this role.
Certification/Skills:
Must have some exposure to Information Technology.
Minimum Education:
We prefer students who are pursuing a degree in Information Technology.
Minimum Experience:
No minimum experience, but you do need some interest in Information Technology. You should be a student studying it, or someone who has worked in the industry and would like more exposure.
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas. This role is on-site.
