Gulf Gate Animal Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our 3-doctor team.
We’re searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values collaboration, enjoys companion animal medicine, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture. We’re an excellent choice for veterinarians of all experience levels. Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in Florida for consideration.
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling. There are no emergency or on-call services for this position. Ability to work Saturdays (8am – 1pm) is a plus.
Background and Experience:

Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.

Gulf Gate Animal Hospital is a small animal + exotics hospital that combines modern technology with a personal approach to veterinary care. Our fully equipped surgery suite includes isoflurane gas anesthesia machines, IV pumps, cardiac and pulse oximetry monitoring, suction, electrocautery, and warm water heating pads. Additionally, we have species-specific exam rooms, digital radiography, high-quality ultrasound, and electronic medical records (AVImark). Our DVM team has more than 50 years of combined experience, and great tenure; two of our doctors even worked in our clinics before earning their degrees!
