Description: This is a 12-hour shift 3 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN Critical Care with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Need 2 Professional References. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $57.66/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $40.91/hr, along with a per diem of $16.75/hr. Work Location: 1111 6th Avenue, Des Moines, IA, 50314. Local Rate (Below 60 miles): $49.14/hr.\n
Summary:

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered RN Critical Care Iowa state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN Critical Care program
• One year of work experience as RN Critical Care
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

Responsibilities:

• Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
• Implementing medical care plans;
• Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
• Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
• Performing other related duties as assigned/required.
