UC Health is hiring a PRN Rehab Aide for the rehabilitation service's department at West Chester Hospital.
The Rehabilitation Aide provides non-skilled assistance in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist/occupational therapist/speech therapist/recreational therapist. This includes general cleanliness and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas, and assistance with clerical duties as indicated.

- 15 years serving the West Chester and Butler County community.
- 216 licensed beds
- Level III trauma center .
- Minimum Required: High School Education.
- Certified in CPR

- Communicates effectively with patients and families based on age and developmental needs
- Provides clear treatment instructions and involves family/guardians in care
- Identifies physical and behavioral health needs and responds appropriately
- Plans care based on population-specific data and cultural/religious considerations
- Administers treatments and medications safely; recognizes signs of abuse/neglect
- Cleans and maintains therapy equipment daily and biweekly
- Reports and removes malfunctioning equipment; coordinates repairs
- Issues and maintains wheelchairs and cushions; manages inventory
- Assists with patient treatments including exercises, transfers, and adaptive equipment
- Supports ADLs and mobility needs before therapy sessions
- Transports patients between facilities and therapy areas
- Maintains clean and organized treatment areas
- Stocks linens and supplies; monitors equipment temperatures
- Refills ultrasound gel bottles and assists with inventory
- Adheres to schedule and break policies; demonstrates reliability and flexibility
- Travels between facilities to meet workload demands
- Collaborates with therapists and peers to ensure smooth operations
- Copies, faxes, and organizes departmental and patient forms
- Manages therapy schedules and maintains lobby cleanliness
- Assists with filing, supply ordering, and other clerical tasks
