Description
Key Responsibilities:- Perform inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
- Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from quality standards.
- Identify Critical to Quality conditions on parts
- Maintain and analyze quality assurance documentation and metrics.
- Maintain quality control systems and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex product quality issues with the support of other team members
- Monitor operations affecting product quality and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Provide training and support to production teams on quality standards and testing methods.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing quality role (typically 1-3 years).
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, tools, and legal standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement and testing devices (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to details
- Familiarity with statistical process control and lean manufacturing principles.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician) is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor setting with potential exposure to noise, machinery, and safety protocols.
- May require use of protective equipment and adherence to strict safety guidelines.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some overtime is expected.
