Job Summary
Supports the accuracy of provider demographic data by performing outbound calls to validate and update information. Provides technical and transactional support and education to providers on how to update data and information ongoing. Collect updated information in tracking tools.
Education & Experience
Required:
• Associates degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume customer service, medical office or contact center environment
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
• Effective verbal, written, and communication skills
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field
• VA or TRICARE Program experience
Key Responsibilities
• Conducts outbound calls to validate accuracy of provider data within directories. Provides excellent customer service while speaking with providers.
• Provides problem triaging if needed while engaging with providers on calls.
• Ensures calls and issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintains comprehensive tracking and documentation for all calls and records.
• Applies applicable knowledge of the VA or TRICARE program and its related technology in handling service calls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Working Conditions
Working Conditions:
• Ability to cover any work shift 6:00am - 9:00pm M-F, with no travel
• Works within a standard office environment
• Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting and wearing a headset
