Description
Role descriptionWe are looking for a Project Excellence Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our Operations & Engineering team. In this role, you will drive cross-functional initiatives that improve performance, standardize processes, and support strategic priorities across our production network. You will work closely with site leaders, functional teams, and senior management to turn strategy into execution - with a strong focus on project excellence, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Your Mission
Project Excellence
- Develop and apply project management methods and standards in close collaboration with our PMO team
- Prioritize and oversee project execution across sites; step in to support or recover critical initiatives when needed
- Drive standardization through project evaluations, lessons learned, and continuous improvement practices
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on digital tools and methodologies
- Ensure structured reporting, status tracking, and stakeholder communication across all levels
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across operations
- Work closely with production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Maintain strong focus on business goals, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as Make-or-Buy decisions, M&A projects, and operational roadmaps
- Support the Operations leadership team with analysis, documentation, and delivery of key insights and recommendations
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in operations, project management, or a similar environment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage stakeholders across all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
- Experience with digital tools (e.g. Power BI, project tracking or collaboration tools)
- Structured, proactive, and hands-on working style
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
