FOLIO Architects, an award-winning boutique firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Job Captain / Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Requirements

 Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution

3–6 years of relevant experience in a professional architectural setting

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019, Revit 2024, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with MS Project a plus

Solid understanding of design fundamentals, materials and methods of construction, and California commercial building codes

 Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills

 Ability to resolve technical issues and develop clear, coordinated construction documents

 Demonstrated enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team-driven studio culture

 
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to support and coordinate all phases of project development

 Lead document production and coordination throughout design, development, and construction phases

 Manage and mentor junior staff; coordinate with consultants to deliver fully integrated construction documents

 Perform code analysis, research materials, and interface with vendors

 Maintain adherence to firm documentation standards and participate in quality control

 Coordinate with jurisdictional agencies and manage plan check submittals and approvals
