Our client is a global asset manager with strong business growth in Asia. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join their team, with the option to be based in either their Singapore or Hong Kong office.

This is a unique opportunity for candidates looking to take on a new challenge in a newly created function in Asia. As the first Product Marketing person in the Asia office, the successful candidate will play an integral role in driving business growth and shaping the product marketing strategy for the region.

Job Objective:
This role is responsible for planning and delivering product marketing initiatives to support global business objectives and sales targets for the Asset Management business. The Product Marketing Specialist will develop and execute product marketing messaging and content strategies for Private Bank and Wealth audiences across various asset classes, ensuring adherence to high regulatory standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of product marketing activity and content to drive sales and retention with global Private Bank and Wealth clients
• Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging for our range of investment strategies and funds, with a focus on Active Fixed Income and Private Markets
• Create and maintain product marketing and sales enablement content, including technical fund-specific pitch presentations, brochures, client communications, Q&As, educational content, thought leadership, and websites
• Support broader product marketing activity, including identifying and addressing gaps in asset class-focused content and sales enablement collateral
• Integrate product marketing deliverables into channel marketing plans and work with local Channel Marketing Managers to deliver content that supports the broader marketing strategy
• Proactively manage stakeholders across the organization, including colleagues in Investments, Distribution, Product, and Compliance
• Support the delivery of regulatory projects and ensure marketing materials adhere to evolving regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing product-specific messaging and content for institutional and wholesale clients, particularly for Private Banks and/or Global Financial Institutions
• Experience promoting the launch of new funds/strategies, demonstrating innovation and commercial awareness
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment and investment strategies and markets, including active fixed income, index, and multi-asset strategies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create compelling content and product marketing communications across a range of formats
• Robust stakeholder management capabilities and a strong understanding of investment management businesses and the competitor landscape
• Awareness of regulations and legislation governing advertising standards
