Department Overview

We, Sports Service Development Group, are a group of "masterminds" who deliver excitement to everyone involved with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and Vissel Kobe.

We provide new stadium viewing experiences, such as Japan's first "completely cashless stadium" and "QR ticket entry at all entrances". We also support the creation of world-class ballparks/stadiums, where people can enjoy themselves even outside of games, by installing Ferris wheels and merry-go-rounds within the stadiums, all from a systems and infrastructure perspective.

To accelerate the realization of our "Smart Stadium" concept, we are seeking a producer who can create an entertainment space that stimulates the five senses.

The successful candidate for this position will primarily serve as the Technology Lead for Vissel Kobe, focusing on:

- Accelerating further smart stadium development centered around the utilization of IoT and 5G

- Promoting the digitalization of existing operations

- Creating new businesses by combining football with other elements football x α

You will be responsible for widely producing services related to the stadium and the club.

Position Details

The main responsibilities will revolve around data analysis, focusing on planning new services for the stadium and business operations, improving existing services, and providing post-implementation support.

- Project Management: Collaborate with business, development members, and external vendors to transform proposed service plans into projects, managing their Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)

- Stakeholder Management: Promote various projects through appropriate communication, coordination, and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders

- Infrastructure Support: Provide support for the construction and operation of network and infrastructure, incorporating the latest technology trends for facilities such as the stadium, training grounds, and offices

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Management Experience: Experience in management roles such as Product Manager or Project Leader

- Multi-Vendor Environment Experience: Experience in development and vendor management within a multi-vendor environment

- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with internal and external parties

- Ownership and Responsibility: A mindset that enables you to approach assigned services with a high degree of ownership and responsibility

- Curiosity and Challenge: Curiosity and a challenging spirit towards new technological elements and services

- Self-Motivation and Dedication: Someone who can develop their services with responsibility and passion, and is capable of working autonomously

- Capability to speak fluently with various stakeholder in Japanese

Desired Qualifications:

- Network Fundamentals: Foundational knowledge of networks, including 5G/Wi-Fi 6

- LAN Setup and Operation: Experience in setting up and operating small-scale Local Area Networks (LANs)

- Public Cloud Server Design/Construction: Experience in designing and building servers using public cloud platforms such as Azure

- Small-Scale Business Application Development: Experience in developing small-scale business applications
