Who are we?
Practice Locations (established 10+ years): Gymea (South Sydney) and Stanmore (Inner West Sydney). Both practices have nearby street parking and are walking distance from the local train station.
Facilities: Private treatment rooms, fully equipped Gym, bathroom and kitchenette. Modern and well-maintained fit outs.
Team: Lead by Brooke Cranney (APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist) and supported by Senior Physiotherapists, Physiotherapists, Remedial Massage Therapist, Administration Team and Practice Manager.
Services: 30min, 60min and 90min Private Physiotherapy Consultations, 60min Group Exercise Classes and GLA:D Programs (GLA:D Australia and GLA:D Back registered and qualified practice), Prevent and Perform Program for sport teams and individual athletes, on-field Sports Coverage, Work Cover/CTP/NDIS/Other Third-Party Consultations, Home Visits, Hydrotherapy, and 30min, 45min and 60min Remedial Massage Therapy Consultations.
Community and Professional Network: Both our Practices are well established and embedded into their local communities and participate in annual community events such as The Gymea Village Festival and The Stanmore Music Festival. We are also privileged to work with a well-established professional network of GPs, Specialists, Allied Health and Universities (The University of Sydney, Macquarie University and La Trobe University).

How will we support you?
Orientation Program: 4-week scheduled orientation program, including time with all team members to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition into your new role.
In-house Professional Development:
- Physiotherapist Excellence Program (3-year structured program): 3 x 7-week Modules per year run by Lead and Senior Physiotherapists. You will have a prepared workbook, pre-work, reflection time with a 1.5 hour weekly one on one tutorial and practical assessment.
- Team Workshops: Quarterly whole team building and development with practitioners and administration team.
- Yearly Performance Reviews: Reflection and Goal Setting with Director and Practice Manager.
- Personal Growth Mentoring with Practice Manager covering Reflective Practice, The Third Space, Reframing and other strategies and tools.
Outside Professional Development Opportunities:
- Surgery Observation Day
- Specialist Observation
- Financial support for approved PD Courses
Collaboration:
- Weekly Clinical Meetings: All practitioners meet to discuss difficult cases and celebrate clinical wins.
- Monthly Team Meetings: All team members meet with a set agenda.
- Open door policy: Practitioners are encouraged to work together and collaborate on client care.

Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
Current AHPRA Registration
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and work both independently and collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated commitment to Professional Development
Evident passion for Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a strong work ethic
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance minimum $20M
Current first aid and CPR certificates
Working with Children Check
