Join an established clinic in the heart of the Blue Mountains where you will be given the opportunity to carve your niche in private practice.

You will receive structured, high quality mentoring to help develop your clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills, in addition to upskilling your ability to use therapeutic exercise.

Experienced and recently qualified physiotherapists are welcome to apply, with a range of employment options available including permanent full-time, part-time, and higher rates of pay depending on your experience and your caseload.

The opportunity:

• Part-time 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility to work across Mon-Sat between 4-8 hours per shift, with a view to a full-time position.
• Mentoring: Weekly in-house professional development using case studies and skills sessions catered to your caseload and interests.
• Well above award base pay rates and the option of a higher, percentage-based pay rate for more experienced clinicians.
• Pay bonuses for outstanding performance.
• CPD allowance $1500 per year.

Requirements

About the job:

You will treat a mix of private, Medicare, and compensable patients presenting with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including neck pain, low back pain, hip and knee osteoarthritis, shoulder pain, and sports injuries. But you’re welcome to carve your own niche and treat more of certain conditions that suit your interests and skills. Pilates experience is desirable but training will be provided.

The position is part-time 20-30 hours per week, with a view to full-time, and the days and hours are flexible. Pay is well above the award and could either be casual + super, or permanent part-time plus entitlements.

The majority of your work will take place in the clinic, but there is the opportunity for gym visits, pool sessions, and home visits.

About You:

You might be an experienced physiotherapist looking to develop your private practice skills or a recently graduated physiotherapist needing mentoring to start putting your training into practice. You should have a commitment to giving your best effort to each of your patients and striving for excellence. You will need your own professional indemnity insurance, first aid certificate, and physiotherapy registration.
