Work as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant alongside Family Medicine, Pediatric, and Internal Medicine physicians as well as  additional Family Medicine Physician Assistants.   Aspen Medical Care is a long established practice delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages.  Physician Assistants are responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive care, and offering patient education.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient interviews and medical histories.
Perform physical examinations to diagnose and assess health conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, X-rays, and EKGs.
Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
Prescribe medications and treatments for acute and chronic illnesses.
Administer immunizations and vaccinations.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Conduct routine health screenings and wellness exams.
Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, and lesion removal.
Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and preventive health strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs).
Collaborate with supervising physicians and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Provide emergency care and stabilization as needed.
Stay current with medical knowledge, guidelines, and CME requirements.
