PEDIATRIC RADIOLOGIST and NUCLEAR MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
Boston Children’s Hospital
The Boston Children’s Hospital Department of Radiology is seeking a pediatric radiologist with additional training and certification in Nuclear Medicine to join our large multi-specialty academic practice. The department is active in all aspects of pediatric imaging including the provision of exceptional clinical, imaging research, and educational services. The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical coverage in Nuclear Medicine, as well as general pediatric radiology services.
Candidates must be certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or its equivalent, have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology, and have additional dedicated training in Nuclear Medicine. Candidates must be eligible for the ABR CAQ in Pediatric Radiology, and should also be eligible for either the ABR CAQ in Nuclear Radiology, or board certification in Nuclear Medicine from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Candidates must be eligible for a full Massachusetts medical license. Each radiologist is entitled to full salary and benefits and is eligible for academic promotion at Harvard Medical School. The successful applicant should be able to qualify for the assistant or associate professor level.
Boston Children’s Hospital, the independent pediatric hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is a 404-bed institution and performs 270,000+ radiological examinations annually in one of the largest pediatric medical centers in North America. Collaborative research opportunities are available within Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, nearby Harvard teaching hospitals, and the Harvard School of Public Health.
