The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of pediatric IR in North Carolina while living in one of the nation’s most desirable college towns.
At UNC, you’ll join a vibrant academic medical center with a mission to advance health through excellence in patient care, education, and research. Our pediatric IR division performs a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions, caring for children with complex needs, including vascular malformations, oncologic disorders, solid organ transplants, and more.
This role offers the unique opportunity to not only provide outstanding clinical care at the UNC Medical Center, but also to play a pivotal part in planning vascular and interventional services for the new North Carolina Children’s Hospital—the state’s first free-standing, independent children’s hospital, scheduled to open in the early 2030s. In partnership with Duke, this 400-bed facility will redefine pediatric care for the region.
