Description

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing, collaborative, and mission-driven team. As the only freestanding children’s hospital in the region, our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated exclusively to the health and well-being of children.  The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for children with a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 

Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide clinical evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients with GI, liver, and nutritional disorders
Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and procedures including endoscopy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists and advanced practice providers
Contribute to quality improvement and clinical care initiatives
Option to engage in teaching medical students and residents through our academic affiliation
Share in call rotation with the Pediatric GI team

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship
  Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  Eligible for licensure in the state of Louisiana
  Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
