Position Overview
We are seeking a Maryland-licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This role begins on a part-time basis with the opportunity to build your caseload at your own pace. The contractor will maintain independence in setting their schedule, determining client caseload, and selecting treatment approaches consistent with professional standards. This position is fully remote. We are offering $90-$125 per session depending on licensure level and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and platonic partners.
Exercise independent professional judgment in clinical decision-making and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state licensing requirements.
Collaborate as desired in case consultations and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Masters level clinician and/or psychologist (LCSW, LPC, Ph.D., or PsyD)
Current, active Maryland psychologist license.
Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Professional liability insurance required (contractors are responsible for maintaining their own coverage).
Compensation & Terms
1099 Independent Contractor role — contractor is not an employee and is responsible for their own taxes and insurance.
Competitive per-session reimbursement (hourly equivalent), paid monthly.
Flexible scheduling; contractor may set availability consistent with client demand.
