- Part-time Capstone Assistant

Position Summary
This position will help ensure that students, teachers, and volunteers visiting the Junior Achievement Experiential Learning Center will have a positive learning experience.
This position is part-time position. Approximately, 30 or more total days in Fall, and approximately, 60 or more total days in Spring. Hours are approximately 8:30 am-2:30 pm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Capstone Manager with providing quality facilitation and direction to all participants (students, teachers, volunteers) visiting Capstone facility.
- Assist with volunteer check-in.
- Provide quality customer service. Along with providing a safe and positive experience to all participants.
- Manage the facility in the absence of the Capstone Manager and/or Program Manager. Will include some presenting, and public speaking in a group.
- Help problem solve with students, teachers, volunteers as necessary.
- Prepare the facility and ensure that related components are fully functional, clean, and properly maintained/supplied.
- Assist Capstone Manger in preparing student/volunteer materials and any other program materials for use in the Capstone facility.
- Reset the facility each day for the next day's students.
- Assist in recording program records in database, as needed.
- Other projects as required.
Requirements
High School graduate or GED, 18 years old or older. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organization/planning skills. Computer literacy, problem solving, flexibility, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must display self-motivation.
