THE PELVIC STUDIO is a private physiotherapy practice located in Salamanca, Hobart and we are looking to expand our team! We have a 12 month fixed-term or 6 month fixed-term contract. Start date negotiable. We are looking for an experienced pelvic health physiotherapist with pelvic floor post-graduate qualifications or equivalent. This is a part-time contract 0.4-0.6 FTE available. There is potential to increase to full-time hours (FTE) if desired +/- permanency. 

Our clientele are mainly a mix of pre and postnatal women, male and female pelvic floor dysfunction, pre and post prostatectomy care, pelvic pain, pelvic girdle/low back/hip pain, abdominal rehabilitation, general neck/shoulder/wrist musculoskeletal complaints and cancer rehabilitation. Experience in exercise rehabilitation/Pilates is beneficial as this role may involve taking pregnancy, postnatal, postmenopausal and cancer recovery exercise classes, as well as 4:1 groups sessions, private duets and 1:1 exercise rehabilitation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

- Pelvic floor postgraduate qualifications or equivalent

- Experience in both musculoskeletal and pelvic floor private practice physiotherapy

- Exercise rehabilitation experience (including formal reformer Pilates training)
