Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager (OM) to join our local leadership team in Nashville/Knoxville (Tennessee) . In this pivotal role, the OM will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Nashville/Knoxville (Tennessee) office, ensuring that operations meet financial goals, customer satisfaction targets, and overall operational objectives. The OM will manage staff, assist in developing and implement local strategies, and oversee various aspects of the business, such as budgeting, operational staffing, financial reporting, and quality control. This position will work with the corporate office to foster a positive and collaborative company culture.
As a key local leader, the OM will manage staff, mentor and coach team members to perform at the highest standards and work closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to ensure Sales meets budget and that Operations effectively support sales demand.
Successful candidates will have a collaborative leadership style, a proven track record in management or leadership roles, and a deep understanding of financial management, tracking and reporting. Primary Essential Job Duties:
Leadership
Lead, mentor, and coach team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture that encourages morale and productivity.
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, workload, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and improve quality of local market.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
Ensure alignment of operations with the company’s overall vision and goals.
Financial Management:
Monitor and manage budgets, financial reports, and financial statements to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness in the assigned Profit Center.
Working closely with Regional Sales Manager to align sales with operational goals.
Identify cost-saving opportunities for local offices and implement measures to improve profitability.
Strategy
Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of operations.
Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the Profit Center and ensure that Operations align with those plans.
Operations
Maintain compliance with local Codes and Licenses.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
Address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

Education and Experience
4- year degree or equivalent experience
5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to use computer for long periods of time
Ability to pass drug screen and background check
